Assistant Site Manager – Traditional Build
Wadebridge area, Cornwall
Permanent
£45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance
Are you an experienced Assistant Site Manager with a background in housing?
We are working with a well-established client, looking to bolster their operational team and recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is looking for progression to Site Manager in the very near future. The project will consist of high-quality, traditional build in a desirable North Cornwall location.
The Role:
Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of site operations and helping to keep the build programme on track
Supervising trades, subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of health & safety procedures and site standards
Assisting with quality control and ensuring work is completed to the required specification and customer expectations
Monitoring progress on site, resolving day-to-day issues and reporting updates to the Site Manager
Liaising with technical, commercial and wider project teams to support the smooth delivery of the development
About You:
Proven experience working as an assistant site manager on traditional build housing developments
Background working with housing / contracting
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualified as a minimum
