Greenhills Care Home is a 45-bedded home in the heart of Biggar, providing high-quality care for individuals living with dementia and frailty. Set in a beautiful rural location with stunning views, our home offers a calm, welcoming environment for both residents and staff.


We are currently looking for kind, compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team.


About the Role

You will support residents to live as independently as possible, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and truly at home. We focus on person-centred care, where every individual is valued, listened to, and involved in decisions about their life and care.


What You’ll Be Doing



Providing high-quality personal care and support tailored to each individual
Promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times
Supporting residents with daily routines, including mobility, meals, and activities
Encouraging choice and involvement in all aspects of care
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the senior team
Supporting meaningful activities and social engagement

Additional Information



Reports to: Home Manager / Senior Team
All staff are expected to follow SSSC Codes of Practice and company policies
A commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and safety is essential

Pay: £13.45 per hour
