Chief Operating Officer – Asset Finance


South East – hybrid

Our client is a major player in vendor, manufacturer and broker-introduced hard and soft asset finance. In order to create a strong operational platform for their ambitious growth objectives in 2026 and beyond they have created a new role at EXCO level.


The Role:



As part of EXCO, contributing to the business’ growth strategy, collaborating with the departmental heads of Customer Services, Collections, New Business, Asset Management and Facilities.
Establishing and maintaining a high level of service excellence by deploying people with the right attitude, mindset and technical skills to deliver the growth strategy.
Leading the operational teams appropriately in applying the requirements under Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly.
Identifying and delivering operational objectives linked to customer needs and in line with agreed SLAs.
Partnering and collaborating with other senior colleagues to achieve broader company objectives including technology transition, process enhancement and improving customer experience.
Managing the documentation of policy and procedures in conjunction with the Legal team and liaising with third party suppliers where necessary.

The Candidate:



Proven experience in leading an operational function at a senior level within the asset finance / leasing industry – ideally encompassing hard and soft assets through vendors, manufacturers, and brokers.
Strong commercial and financial awareness with a detailed understanding of UK regulatory requirements.
Able to confidently operate at EXCO level and influence senior management and peers as appropriate.
Act as a role model showing the highest level of professionalism, ethics and integrity, ensuring decisions and actions are in alignment with conduct expectations.
