Commercial Finance Analyst

I am delighted to be partnering with a high growth business on their search for a part qualified commercial finance analyst to join their growing team!

Day to day duties will include:

• Stakeholder collaboration - Build productive relationships across the organisation to ensure finance insights are understood, trusted, and actioned.

• Operational insight - Convert financial data into clear, practical guidance that supports leaders in making informed commercial and operational decisions.

• Performance evaluation - Analyse monthly results to highlight key movements, performance drivers, and emerging trends.

• Variance investigation - Examine deviations from budgets, forecasts, and historical results, identifying risks, opportunities, and underlying causes.

• Forecasting support - Contribute to planning cycles by providing robust analysis, scenario insight, and data-driven recommendations.

• Reporting enhancement - Drive improvements in reporting quality, analytical processes, and financial systems to increase efficiency and clarity.

• Internal data response - Manage and respond to data, reporting, and analysis requests from teams across the business in a timely and accurate

About you:

• Analytical capability - Strong ability to break down financial data, interpret trends, and convert findings into clear, actionable insight.

• Commercial awareness - A curious, business-focused mindset with a genuine interest in understanding what drives organisational performance.

• Clear stakeholder communication - Confident communicator able to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across both finance and non-finance teams.

• Detail-driven collaboration - Works well with others while maintaining strong accuracy, precision, and a commitment to high-quality output.

• Organised delivery - Proactive, structured, and capable of managing competing deadlines without compromising standards.
