The role

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations in Bristol. Working on a days shift, you will help ensure goods are handled safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and responsibly.
Load, unload and move goods around the warehouse or yard.
Position stock in the correct areas for storage or dispatch.
Assist with loading vehicles and preparing consignments.
Complete routine checks on the forklift and report any issues.
Follow site safety procedures and manual handling guidance.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Work effectively with warehouse and transport colleagues.

Skills and qualifications

A valid counterbalance forklift certificate or recognised training qualification.
Recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, depot or industrial setting.
Good awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work accurately and follow instructions.
A reliable, practical and team-focused approach.
Good physical fitness for a role involving regular movement and handling of goods.
