About the service
Our 24-hour housing support service in Motherwell supports two individuals who are primarily deafblind and have complex support needs to live independently in their own homes. As a Female Relief Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support, helping them maintain routines, enjoy their favourite activities, and stay connected to their communities.
A full UK driving licence is essential as a shared service vehicle is used for appointments and community activities.
Shift Pattern
Our service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Relief colleagues provide flexible cover across a range of shifts, which can include:
Early: 7:45am - 3:00pm
Late: 2:45pm - 10:00pm
Long Day: 7:45am - 9:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, you will:
Provide personal care and daily living support
Support medication, meal preparation and household tasks
Encourage independence, choice and community participation
Build positive relationships with the individuals we support
Liaise with families and professionals
Complete accurate records and support documentation
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality support

This is a Female Support Worker role. For this position, female is an Occupational Requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
This is a driver essential post and therefore you must hold a valid UK driving licence and be in a position to drive a work vehicle.
