Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced distribution team. The role involves picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, supporting goods movement within the warehouse, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. A counterbalance FLT licence is preferred due to the physical nature of the role.

Responsibilities

Safely handle and move materials within the warehouse, including heavy lifting where necessaryOperate forklifts and other warehouse machinery in accordance with safety protocolsManage stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory accuratelyPrepare items for shipping and receiving, including picking, packing, and labelling ordersStock shelves and storage areas efficiently to optimise space utilisationAssist in loading and unloading lorries using appropriate equipmentMaintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all timesSupport warehouse management with stock rotation and cycle counting activitiesExperience

Previous warehouse experience preferredCounterbalance FLT licence (desirable)Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasksAbility to work efficiently under pressureGood attention to detailReliable, punctual, and flexibleAble to follow instructions and work independentlyMonday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Overtime paid @ 1.5.
