Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and and reliable Warehouse Picking Operative to join our busy warehouse team. The role is suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, customer focused warehouse environment. You will have a keen eye for detail and will naturally take pride and care in your work.
Responsibilities

Accurately pick products from storage locations using a handheld scanner.
Prepare items for shipping by packing and labelling according to company and customer requirements.
Load and unload goods safely using appropriate handling equipment, including forklifts where necessary.
Assist with stock replenishment, stocking picking locations, and maintaining organised storage areas.
Operate mechanical equipment such as forklifts (training provided) to move heavy or bulky items safely.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

Experience

Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Familiarity with materials handling techniques and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Experience with forklifts desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, handling loads up to 10kg as required.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Good communication skills.
Reliable and punctual.

Pay: £28,500.00 per year
