Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor

PERMANENT CONTRACT


Location: Sherburn in Elmet


£36,000 per annum - PM Shift (14:00 - 22:00)


OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL DUE TO SITE LOCATION

We are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor to lead, motivate and support a team of warehouse operatives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor:


Lead and supervise a team to achieve daily operational targets


Coordinate and oversee picking, packing, goods-in and dispatch activities


Monitor team performance, provide coaching and address issues as they arise


Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment


Ensure compliance with all company policies and health & safety procedures


Support operational planning to meet customer demand and service levels


Liaise with managers and other departments to ensure smooth workflow


Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor - Requirements:


Proven experience in a warehouse team leader, supervisor or similar role


Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team


Good understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety standards


Excellent communication and organisational skills


Flexible to work a 5 out of 6 shift pattern (Sunday always off; every other Saturday required)


Own transport essential due to site location and limited public transport options
