Job Title: Site Manager - Construction
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
Salary & Package: £55,000 - £65,000 + Company Car / Vehicle Allowance + Benefits Package
An established and highly respected main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their growing operational team across the Midlands region.
Our client delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across a range of sectors including public sector, commercial and residential with schemes ranging from refurbishment and fit out through to complex new build developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Site Manager to join an established contractor offering genuine long-term progression, support with professional development and the opportunity to work on high-profile regional projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to budget.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers on site.Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality assurance and environmental compliance.Monitor programme performance and drive progress against key milestones.Lead site meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, consultants and internal teams.Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and company procedures.Manage site logistics, inspections, snagging and handover processes.Produce and maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor.Strong background delivering projects valued between £5m - £20m.Experience across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial or residential would be advantageous.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Strong understanding of health & safety and construction compliance.SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications essential.
